Digital Learning Program
The DIGITAL LEARNING PROGRAM is initiated from the arising needs of our target beneficiaries during the Covid-19 Pandemic, where they are forced to abruptly change their learning ways to distance learning.
To bridge the need gap, Bulir Padi Foundation DIGITAL LEARNING PROGRAM's objectives are to provide our target beneficiaries in High School (15-18 years old) and Productive-aged youths (18-25 years old):
- Access to internet and gadgets/hardware for education purposes.
- Access to information and Communication Technologies knowledge and education.
- Become updated with today's job market requirements and gain competitive advantage in the workplace.
OUR STRATEGY
Our goal is to develop underprivileged youth to become excellent students through tutoring for ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, to grow into high quality high school graduates who are job-ready by getting SKILLS EDUCATION in training workshops. Furthermore, to connect and provide access for our job seekers to JOB OPPORTUNITIES with our network of partners.

Ilham
Meet Ilham, He recently graduated high school, loves to read and play soccer. He lives with his mother who is a single parent. Ilham has dreams of continuing his education but is deciding to find work so that he can help his mother with their daily needs as well as to save up for university.
Many marginalized children like Ilham experience difficulty in staying in school, much less graduating. Let’s support and empower them to be job-ready so they can break the cycle of poverty.

Ibu Tuti
Meet Ibu Tuti. She is the mother of Ariqah, who has been with Bulir Padi Foundation since 2016. Their family’s daily financial needs have risen to exceed their monthly income therefore they have trouble paying for Ariqah’s school tuition. Ariqah is an excellent student and is first place in her class. “Since receiving scholarship from Bulir Padi, Ariqah has become very enthusiastic with her studies, even joined OSIS”, says Ibu Tuti. She hopes Ariqah continues to be motivated to achieve her goals and dreams.
